So you’re sitting in bed reading a post about astrology and you think of that person who makes your heart flutter.
Astrology isn’t going to tell you that it will work or that it is meant to be. Astrology is not going to proclaim that there is no chance that you two will be together.
Yes, there are aspects of the chart that predict actions and thoughts regarding love. Some placements might make interacting easier. But astrology is a microcosm to the overwhelming power of love.
This is my guide, more or less realistically, to astrology and whomever you’re comparing intimately/romantically.
The Sun Sign: This is the window of who you are, the glass in which every beam of light must filter through. The sun sign shows basic characteristics, basic admiration, basic inclinations. Find adjectives associated with each sign and each house- then compare that to the nature of who said person is.
The Moon Sign: This is the baggage so to speak. This is the inner child behaviors, the natural reactions the hidden qualities that people recluse to when they’re comfortable. People like to be comfortable. Look into the qualities of whatever sign/house pairing this person’s Moon Sign is in. Embrace them, admire them, allow the vices of the placement to reveal. The Mercury Sign: Communication is everything. Body language, language verbally, texting, long-distances. Understand how someone is going to take their sun and moon and all other placements and communicate it to you.
The Venus Sign: This is a shallow sensuality of beauty, a nature of craving, of idealizing. Venus could be paired with physical appearances, and the quirks a person believes they want. Venus is attractive, Venus is the type of date someone wants, the intimacy of sex, the nature of longing. Venus shows what they want to possess.
People will probably play up the planet/house placement of their Venus sign, believing that is what they crave in another person. The Mars Sign: Mars is more than sex and anger. Mars is action. Mars and the sun are tightly paired in how people perform. Look into Mars for how emotions might be released, how a person perceives their duties. And yes, the raw sex someone is attracted to performing. Use adjectives.
Chiron: This asteroid or planeteoid is associated with troubles not relating to karma. Not everything is fair and Chiron can be a burden. Research the placement- how do they suffer? What mental/emotional burdens are scratching at their mind? It pays to know, understand, and comfort a potential lover.
Juno: Juno is about long-term relationships. People change, obviously, around other people, and as they become comfortable. What do they want from you a year from now? It probably isn’t exactly the same as the perfect Venus image they drew up in their head. Juno is deeper, and has to be acknowledged.
1st House (Rising): How this person appears is not necessarily who they are. Don’t romanticize someone you don’t know. However, the rising sign is often how someone wants to be portrayed, and the positive qualities of said sign are generally favored! Match this with the synnastry of the 7th House (Descendant).
4th House: How has family come to be recognized? What was this person’s role as a child?
5th House: How is creativity expressed? How are children related to this person? What will be expected of family?
7th House: What is this person drawn to, almost inevitably, in a partner? The negative aspects of this sign often play a role in first relationships.
10th House (Midheaven): What is this person trying to learn to be? How are they continuously growing and balancing their being? What qualities do they lack, or believe they lack? How might they overcompensate with negative traits of this sign?
Always take into account how different signs and houses interact. An opposition can make a world of difference,*****Also, do not undervalue talking. Your interpretation might be flat-out wrong. This is a loose guide, not to be used to replace communication. If you like someone, approach them. The worst they can say is “no.”
